Cat – independent, curious, attentive. Cats like to cooperate with people, protect them from rodents, offer gentleness in return for safety, warmth, food and commitment. Domestic cats do, however, have some of the characteristics of their wild relatives. They can sleep sweetly, but suddenly, at the slightest breeze or barely perceptible movement, they reveal the characteristics of a leopard, jaguar or other large feline predator. They can look after themselves and hunt. A dignified calm, isolated pride and a special grace have attracted people since ancient times. Cats are renowned for their flexibility and quick adaptability. Cats are believed to land on all fours, falling from any height. Technically, this is 100% not the case. Cats have a regenerative reflex that allows them to turn their body around in the air and land on their paws, with the ability to gracefully land safely and securely on the ground. There is something to be learned from this for humans, whether the fall is physical or emotional. Cats can’t ignore a strange sound, a hole in the ground, a high branch or a step. Humans should also learn from cats a curiosity that will lead us to impossible creative outbursts, providing inspiration and motivation for uninterrupted learning. A cat’s curiosity can be combined with a sense of balance and caution, so as not to get into unwanted danger. Cats seem to hold a great and special secret. Their slithering movements and focused watchful gaze, as well as their keen instincts, are also depicted in myths and legends. The ancient Egyptian goddess of beauty and love is Bastet, the black cat. The value of magical cats lies in the fact that anything seems possible when we are with them – they hold something magical in themselves.
