Folklorist Jaan Sudak takes a look at Estonian dream folklore and dream narratives. The first covers everything related to sleep and dreams in folklore: instructions for interpreting dreams, stories about seeing dreams and having them fulfilled. The second refers more narrowly to the signs through which dreams are interpreted. At the core of the book is a glossary of keywords based on the dream narratives, with rich textual examples from the Estonian Folklore Archives and material collected by the author from the island of Kihnu.
